Hot young singer from France Gérôme Gallo was filming his music video last week at Manoa Falls and several locations on the North Shore. Hawaii’s talented make-up artist Christine Gardner, owner of Flaunt Make-up, worked her magic on set. The music video’s been picked up by Sony/Paramount and releases on French TV later this month…

NEW Private Airbrush Make up Workshops

2010 Basic Airbrush Make up private workshops are now available. Learn the techniques you want and at your own speed!

The private workshops are scheduled Tuesday – Thursday and are about 2 hours.

Airbrush Techniques covered:

Custom Blending, Airbrush equiptment maintenance, trouble shooting the airbrush gun, foundation, blush,

highlight / contour, eyebrow, eyeshadow application.

Workshop includes your airbrush compressor, airbrush gun and basic airbrush foundation set.
Fee is $625.00 plus tax. 50% deposit required to hold your spot in the seminar.

Paris Music Video

Recording Artist Jerome Gallo, is an upcoming singer in Paris, he shot his music video here in Hawaii this Week. The Paris crew included his stylist, production director, production manager, the representative from Sony/Paramont and this local girl Christine Gardner (me ) his hair and make up Artist.

We traveled to different locations around Oahu for 2 days. We hiked up Manoa Falls (and yes, I hiked with my make up/hair set bags) to get the perfect setting, traveled to Wailua and the North Shore. I learned a lot about fashion in Paris, how to speak a little (and I mean little) french and now traveling to Paris is on my list of places to visit!

The music video is going to be release mid-April on French television and they are going to send me a copy of his CD when thats released, I can’t wait!!! Even though its sung in French, his voice is so soothing! When we had some downtime from being rained out, he sang and played his guitar and it was like listening to a CD. He even sang some Michael Jackson songs, is tone is perfect!

Summer Issue 2010 Elle Magazine

Did you know that there are 22 different Elle Magazines around the country! I learned a lot about the french magazine and its style when I was asked by Photographer Mark Kayne to style the hair and make up for the Summer Issue in March of this year! The location for the shoot was in beautiful Kaua’i! Here’s a picture of us after hiking down to get to this remote “jungle like” area. Model Kim, me and Photographer Mark Kayne. Christine Gardner is an absolute makeup artist sent from Heaven! I have used Christine for the past 2 years of pageantry, the first year I placed 3rd runner up and this past year I walked away with the title of Mrs. Hawaii Int’l 2010! I love having her back stage with me. She is able to calm my nerves and make me feel like a million bucks before I walk out on stage! She can make you look exactly like you want and works fast! Congratulations Stacie and Calvin

Before Christine Gardner became a recognized makeup and hair stylist here in Hawaii, she was busy passing along the beauty of the ukulele to little keikis. Today was a matter of colliding destines as Christine played a new tune of styling one of her former ukulele students Stacie for her Wedding to Calvin! Through a teacher comes a teacher and Stacie eventually taught the art of ukulele also.

It was a great moment for the both of them as Christine got to see her former “little grasshopper” now transform into a beautiful bride. Best wishes Calvin and Stacie. Till we cross paths again!!
